Best Neighbor Ever Welcomes New Tenant With Amazing Letter (Photo)

I expected this story to unfold in some scathing and embittered back-and-forth between two tenants. At first glance, my instinct was mistrust and skepticism. This must mean I’ve lived in New York just long enough to be jaded.

Needless to say, by the time I finished reading I was ashamed at myself for forgetting that, sometimes, people are wildly decent.

This letter to a new tenant from his soon-to-be neighbor is proof that random acts of kindness can change moods as easily as they can shape perspectives.

The clincher is, after volunteering necessary details for the new resident, Chris includes a gift card to Applebee’s so his new neighbor won’t have to worry about cooking while they settle in.

Also, this:

“I’m deaf in one ear, so if I ever have the TV to loud text me and let me know to turn it down.”

Everyone’s hearts just exploded into a Coldplay song.
