Source registry
The registry records a stable source ID, publisher, domain, source type, retrieval method, storage policy and terms-review status. Public tools do not accept arbitrary URLs for collection.
A source can be reachable without supporting a claim, and a failed fetch does not prove that a place is closed or a historical statement is false.
Independence is not a page count
Pages controlled by the same publisher, a mirror or a syndication chain remain in the same independence group. They are not counted as multiple independent sources.
Dates keep their own meanings
Published at, retrieved at, valid from, valid until and reviewed at describe different events. A fresh download of old material does not reset its review date.
Minimal storage
A public webpage is not automatically licensed for copying, translation or model training. The service stores only the material allowed by the source registry and rights record.
